Sentric Music, which was recently acquired by Believe, has signed electronic musician, composer and producer Amon Tobin to an exclusive, worldwide publishing administration deal.

Tobin has released 17 major studio albums, initially with the Ninja Tune record label and continuing with releases on his own label Nomark.

The Fear In A Handful Of Dust album was the debut release for Nomark in 2019, followed by albums from aliases Only Child Tyrant, Figueroa, Stone Giants and Two Fingers.

Tobin’s music has been used in numerous major motion pictures including The Italian Job, 21 and Rampart, and independent films such as Divine Intervention. His work has appeared in numerous TV shows worldwide including Top Gear and The Blacklist.

The Brazilian artist, DJ and producer has created songs for several independent films, including the 2006 Hungarian film Taxidermia, as well as video games such as Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and Sucker Punch's Infamous. The deal will see Sentric represent the catalogue for sync opportunities.

Tobin’s work in the world of art, dance and exhibition includes collaborations with Pina Bausch, Tessa Farmer and most recently his commissioned work for Meow Wolf’s permanent installation Omega Mart in Las Vegas, which has had over a million visitors since it opened in 2021.

His latest release is the six-track audio/visual project Hole In The Ground, which landed on September 8, 2023.

Tobin has more than 350,000 followers and 600,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone, with his most popular tracks on the platform having earned more than 27 million plays collectively.

Peter McCamley, Sentric Music Group creative director, said: “Signing this deal with Amon is one that fills me and the team with great excitement. His influence in the electronic space is huge and I am very proud to represent his works globally.”

Amon Tobin said: “Sentric has a positive, forward-looking attitude and I’m very happy to be working with them on my Nomark catalogue and future releases.”
